These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Virtewe websites, applications, and related services operated by Emma Jo Holdings, Inc. By using Virtewe, you agree to these Terms.

About Virtewe

Virtewe helps people recognize the virtues they see in one another through short, meaningful recognition messages called Nods. Users may choose a virtue, identify a recipient, and share a short message.

Use of the service

You agree to use Virtewe lawfully, respectfully, and only for appropriate recognition and community-building purposes. You may not use Virtewe to harass, threaten, impersonate, spam, mislead, or harm others.

User content

You are responsible for the content you submit, including Nod messages, recipient information, and profile information. You should not submit content that violates the rights of others, contains unlawful material, or includes sensitive personal information you do not have permission to share.

By submitting content to Virtewe, you grant us permission to use, display, store, process, and transmit that content as needed to provide and improve the service.

SMS terms

          Virtewe may send SMS text messages when a user chooses to share a Nod
          by text. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
          Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help.
        

SMS messages may include the Virtewe name, the sender’s name, the virtue recognized, a short message, and a link to view or learn more about the Nod. Virtewe SMS messages are intended for user-initiated recognition notifications and are not used for promotional blasts or third-party lead generation.

If you reply STOP, you will no longer receive SMS notifications from Virtewe unless you later opt back in where available. If you reply HELP, we may provide help information, including how to contact us.

Mobile number sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Please see our Privacy Policy for more information.

Accounts and access

You are responsible for maintaining access to your account and for activity associated with your account. We may suspend or restrict access if we believe the service is being misused.

No guarantee of availability

Virtewe is an early-stage service and may change over time. We do not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

Disclaimers

Virtewe is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Emma Jo Holdings, Inc. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from your use of Virtewe.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
