SMS Notifications

Virtewe offers optional SMS text notifications for account and Nod activity. SMS is not required to create an account, claim a Nod, or use Virtewe.

Users opt in from Profile in the Virtewe app at app.virtewe.com. The consent checkbox is unchecked by default. Consent is separate from account creation.

Nods sent to you
Nod replies or thank-yous
Sign-in or claim verification
Related account activity

Virtewe does not use SMS for marketing, promotions, lead generation, or bulk unsolicited outreach. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

First contact without SMS

When someone gives you a Nod for the first time, delivery typically happens through native share from the sender’s device, copy link, QR code, or email — not through unsolicited Virtewe SMS to a phone number entered by someone else.

How to opt in

Sign in to Virtewe, open Profile, and use the SMS notifications section. Enter your phone number, review the consent language, check the box, and save your preferences. See our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

How to opt out

Reply STOP to any Virtewe text message to unsubscribe. You can also turn off SMS notifications from Profile in the app.
